Great wands, fantastic bargain I’ve only had them one day but they seem to be vastly superior to the dozens of cat wands that I have bought before. First of all, the wand is constructed from materials similar to a real fishing rod, so it is thin and super flexible with a nice whippy sensation. Second, the wand is collapsible but doesn’t accidentally collapse or pull apart in mid-play like some wands I have bought do. Third, it has a nice foam grip handle. The teasers consist several feather bundles and two fuzzy, soft, carrot-shaped prey. The feather bundles are fairly common prey but they still managed to attract my cats’ attention. This is super important because one of my cats is a cuddle-bug that is rapidly gaining weight. The fuzzy carrots definitely intrigued the cats because they looked kind of like a fluffy rodent tail. I was surprised when I opened the box to find 2 wands and about 6 teasers. What a bargain!
Great if you make one adjustment… This toy has a small clasp that easily allows you to change the toy on the end. Do yourself a favor and IMMEDIATELY cut that clasp off and just tie the different toys on by hand. Our kitten was playing enthusiastically with a feather attachment and got the clasp caught between her toes, basically hooking herself on. Thankfully it didnât fully break through the webbing between her toes, but it took two of us holding her down to retract and remove the clip. It was truly stuck and for a couple minutes I thought I was going to have to take her to the vet to have it cut off. ð³Otherwise, the quality of the pole and attachments are a good value for the money.
Great value! One of my kitten’s very favorite toys! My kittens are absolutely CRAZY about these cat wands! If they even hear the slightest tinkle of the bells (if I accidently bump one for example) they all come running and stare at me until I drop whatever I was doing and play their favorite game with them! I have every kind of cat toy you can imagine but these wands are definately among their very favorite toys. I also love that they are well made, they’re a great value, as you get so much for the price; and they’re easily interchangeable, each having its own lobster claw to clip onto the wand. Their favorites are the orange and green tail-like things (the non-feather attachments) because although tjey love the feathered attachments, there’s something a out the way the tail-like attachments wiggle that my kitties finds absolutely irrisistable! Unfortunately because they love those two attachments so much we play with them more than any of the others and sadly they’ve taken such a TERRIBLE BEATING there’s very little left of them. Im…
